All about steve.
Hey there, I’m Steve Maze, and I’m here to help you move better, feel stronger, and crush your goals.
I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and someone who’s spent years helping everyone from college athletes to Special Operations soldiers reach their peak performance. Whether you're bouncing back from an injury, chasing a new fitness milestone, or just looking to stay healthy and active, I'm all about helping you make real, lasting progress.
I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Neumann University, a Master’s in Sport Management from Drexel University, and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University. Along the way, I picked up a bunch of certifications — including Functional Dry Needling, Precision Nutrition Coaching, and movement assessments like FMS and SFMA — because I believe in bringing the best tools to the table for my clients.
Before starting Maze Performance Therapy, I worked everywhere from Drexel University’s athletics department to the U.S. Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (yes, the real-life "Night Stalkers"). Helping people perform at their best — and stay at their best — is what drives me every single day.
Maze Performance Therapy was built around a simple idea: restore, optimize, and enhance. It’s about giving you the tools, programs, and support you need to move and live at your highest level — all from the convenience of home or wherever life takes you.
When I'm not working with clients, you’ll find me training, spending time with family, or probably nerding out over super heroes, space, or performance science techniques.
Let’s build something amazing together — your best self is just getting started.
